today I will be telling you about a class i liked. English wit Mr Katz. He is so funny and a good storyteller, that I enjoyed your class all year. You always make my day better, and make writing easier. I always come out of your classroom in a good mood, no matter what. You are the greatest teacher I've ever had through all my school years. Your are so nice and helpful when it comes to doing work in the classroom and make it very clear. -Billy
ReplyDeletewhat I enjoy about school is having more freedom compared to elementary school. In elementary school the teachers would never trust us, wouldn't allow us to be alone or trust compared to high school where we have more trust. The teachers don't treat you like children anymore, they know you are mature enough to handle and behave yourself. In elementary school I remember always having to ask permission to do things and it's just funny how much we were protected. I feel that this will affect people when they are older, always being babied. Not knowing what it feels like to be mature. I know i'm only 13 and I probably have know idea what I'm talking about and that I actually don't even know what mature is, but this is my opinion. This is what I enjoy about school.
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoy about school is how I have more freedom. I get more freedom because im in high school. But the only thing I don't like is that juniors are not allowed to come off school property. But next year Ill be a senior and I will be able to go home:). Also my parents give more freedom because im in high school and im more responsible.
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoyed about school this year was how the teachers weren't as strict with us as last year. There was more homework this year than last year but this year since were older I find that teachers treat us more kindly than last year when it felt like we were still in elementary. I feel like we get more priviledges as we get older, that's what i enjoyed over all this year.
ReplyDeleteWhat I enjoyed this school year more than last school year was that this year I feel more confident and more used to the school. Last school year I didn't really have much confidence because it was a new school, so I was kinda lost, but eventually I got better. But this year, I feel like I know a lot more and have much more confidence compared to last school year. I also feel more mature and more responsible.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest...there is so many! for example I love all the English classes I had this year....but I mean that's probably because of Mr. Katz ....xD all the classes were different from all the typical English classes I had before sec 2.
ReplyDeleteI also really like my ethics project I had to do earlier this year (religion scab book) it was really fun! I got to learn about all the worlds religions and do a scarab book on 2 of them, mine were Christianity and Native Spirituality, obviously I liked Native spirituality more because I knew 100% nothing about it! I found out that I agree with everything, i got a little peak of how they see the world, and some valuable life advise.
Today, I will be talking about my favourite class. One of my favourite classes is my french class. My teacher is miss Abbott. She is a very nice teacher and she is very chill. Even though she's new to this school, I really connected with her. Another one of my favourite classes is English. The teacher is also really chill even though he chooses the worst books to make the class read. Other than that, there is nothing to complain about mr. Katz. I love hoe we don't always do work and sometimes he gives us a free period or we watch netflix. I really hope I have mr. Katz next year in secondary 3.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed my history class, which had a funny teacher who always something funny to say or a story to tell for every situation. Plus I don't get kicked out for telling jokes. There's also this one class I like the most out of this whole year called "English class" with a funny but strange man name "Señor Katz" who always has awesome things to say or do. I really hope I have him next year again.
ReplyDeleteThe things that I liked this year was that my teachers were really cool and very nice. Most of my teachers were but not all of them! I also really like that you have a lot more freedom then in elementary school. ReplyDeleteThe things that were a privileged to me this year is having such easy going teachers. I love the autonomous feeling I get when I'm English class because it is not a strictly organized class, and having an encouraging teacher in French who always brings the positive in people. The assignments we get are not stressful, and the teachers this year have made me feel comfortable in this school environment.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, the most enjoyable thing for me this year was English class. Whenever I wake up and realise that I have English, I get all happy and excited. It is the only class where I can relax and just chill. Also, my teacher Mr. Katz is pretty awesome, I would say he was the best teacher so far. He's cool, he's chill, there isn't much more to ask for. I really hope I get him again next year. Thanks Mr. Katz for making school not 100% boring this year....lol
ReplyDeleteI usually enjoy the lunch period its like our break from hell..I mean school but honestly its about talking with your friends telling funny jokes then going outside in the prison yard..I mean school playground to have fun.
ReplyDeleteThe thing that I like the most was weight lifting in gym class it's my favorite class recently we have been playing sports which is great because on day 3-6 I always look forward for gym because I like to do sports because sports are fun to do I Ike to push my self and work hard at sports
ReplyDeleteI really liked most of my teachers this year. Most of them are super nice and funny and they make our class fun. I hate getting boring teachers because I never listen in class but this year I got great teachers. I'm hoping to get most of the same teachers next year because I also have been doing very well because they are really good at teaching and it has helped me so much throughout the year.

ReplyDeleteFor me, this year, it was really about meeting new people and getting used to the new conditions in my life at St. Thomas. So like new friends, awesome teachers, and some greatly talented people whether at sports or music, etc. I would've liked to go on a couple more fieldtrips to really bond as friends on special events. I've grown as a person; but also as a student in this school and next year when I'm here , I'll be a bit more comfortable, and maybe my marks will go in a positive direction!!!
