Buck has to adapt to a new environment, the snow and cold.

If you had to adapt to a new environment that was either SUPER HOT or FRIGID COLD which would you prefer to acclimatize yourselves to? Explain.

  1. If I had to choose between adapting to super cold or super hot weather I think I'd choose the cold weather. I'd choose the cold weather because I've already experienced extreme cold weather and live in a place where it snows for a couple of months as well. I also think that I could adapt to cold weather easier because if you excercised intensely or wore enough layers you shoudn't be that cold.

  2. If I needed to choose to adapt to a new environment I would for sure choose to adapt to a super hot environment because I hate the cold. I get sick often when the weather is cold and I don't wanna get sick all the time so the hot weather is a better choice for me. I don't like going out in the cold but whenever it's hot I'm usually always outside. I've always liked warm weather way more than the cold weather mostly because I wouldn't get sick as often as in the cold weather. I still do not like when it is very warm outside but in this case I would choose the very warm weather instead.

  3. I would choose to adapt to supper hot. just because I love summer.....and I would always go swimming. also I don't like winter, because I don't like the cold and I don't like waking up in the morning and not wanting to get out of bed because it so cold XD people also get sick in winter :( and I don't know about you but, I rather not be sick. although I do think to hot is bad....but I rather be to hot then to cold.

  4. If I was able to chose between adapting to cold or hot, I would like to adapt to super hot, because I'm so used to having cold weather here in Montreal so I dot really enjoy it anymore. I would like to change that. Super hot weather doesn't sound so bad too, because I have a pool. I personally would love to change our super cold temperature to super hot. Then we would have much shorter winters, and longer summers. -Billy

  5. If I needed to adapt to the freezing cold or super hot, I think I would pick super hot because I'm sick and tired of the cold. It always take you longer to get dressed in the mornings because you have to find warm clothes. I also hate waking up early mornings for school because when I get out of bed I'm FREEZING. And if I were in a really hot place it would be okay because I could go in the water all day and keep cool. I could also turn up the AC and wear shorts and tanktops.

  6. I would rather be freezing cold because there is a way to keep yourself warm. For example, you can just wear a lot of layers and wear blankets all the time. Also, you can make a fire and drink hot coco or tea. Although, if you're in the boiling hot, there is not a lot of ways to make yourself cold. I have no idea what you do when you are really hot. There is a lot of ways of keeping yourself warm when you are cold. That is why I would rather be cold.

  7. If I had the opportunity to choose a climate that to adapt to (out of hot and cold), I'd choose cold because to be hones... I love the cold. I'm quite use to it since I prefer cold showers over warm ones. Another reason's that I was taught ( in cadets) to survive in the cold. So yes, I'd love to change the temperature to the cold since I'm' quite used to it.

  8. I would honestly just choose a hot climate because I've been to really hot places such as Australia and I loved it. I really like the heat. I would make sure to keep a lot of water with me. I would most likely be really happy because I would treat it as a vacation.

  9. If I needed to adapt to freezing cold or very hot I would rather really cold. I hate it when the weather is to hot, it makes me very uncomfortable and I don't drink enough water already and if i'm in the sun for to long, I get really dehydrated and I faint. yeah, not fun. I much prefer being cold, then being hot. When your cold, you can get a bunch of blankets at watch netflix, with a bunch of food. That is the life! I don't know why anyone wouldn't like that.

  10. I would rather adapt to the cold because it's much easier to warm yourself in a cold environment than to cool yourself in a hot environment. It's also going to be harder to sleep in the hot, wich can lead to serious health issues.

  12. I would want to adapt to a cold climate. I would prefer to adapt to a colder climate because we do live in Canada one of the colder places in the world and it would be easier to adapt to that than a hotter climate Also it is harder to get cool when it is very hot but it is easier to get warn when it is cold.

  13. I think I would be able to adapt faster to a very hot place rather then a freezing cold place, because I hate winter so much because it is so cold, but I love summer because it is so hot. In the freezing cold you can get sick so quickly, but in the summer it is hot so you don't need to worry about getting a cold. I just prefer the heat much more then I prefer the cold. If you get to hot in the sun you can always just jump in a pool or poor water on yourself.

  14. For me I would adapt to a hot place and not a cold place because hot I have snow and being cold and having to wear a big jacket and hats. I rather be in a hot place because I love summer and you don't have to worry about getting cold and not being able to move because you're so cold and if you do get to hot you can go in a pool or get a cold shower or anything.
