I feel that women are treated well-respected nowadays. Men respect women much more as they used to. In the old days, only men were allowed to go to school and women had to stay home and do house work and take care of their children if they had any. I find that unfair because everyone should be educated. Nowadays, women are allowed to be educated. Nowadays, they're are even some husbands that don't work and stay home with their kids or do house work and the wives are out working. Men didn't respect their wives as much as they did nowadays. They're still a few men that disrespect or even beat their wives but not all. A lot of men take great care of their wives and kids.
I do think women are well respected these days, I just wish it could have changed a bit earlier before they realized that everybody is equal and that both sexes should do the same or at least help each other out. It's sad to see that some husbands or wives beat up the other physically or mentally and are forced to do something all alone while the other just watches them suffer. When I'm older, I wish to be one of those people that helps out people who need help. So, I do think that women are well respected now a days, thankfully!!!
Well I do feel that women are well respected these days you know they can vote get jobs back then they weren't allowed to do that it was mostly doing chores around the house so yes I think they are well respected.However in other countries they still treat them the same like as a maid which is totally not ok, its disrespectful.
These days women are actually treated like people. They are treated with respect like any other person. So yes, I find it has changed and they are more respected than they used to be. There are some exceptions though. For example, in some places women have to be covered up and they get beat and that is normal like in the book Shabanu. There are also the "classic" rude man that thinks he is far superior to other colours and other sexes.
It all depends in the countries. In the US and Canada, women are treated the same as men. Every one is equal. I actually learned that there are more guy-drop outs then girl-drop outs and that there are more successful women in school nowadays. Though in other countries, women are still treated as they were back in the Medieval Ages. It is a shame that women still do not have the respect they deserve. Hopefully in the future, women will be as equal as men are, all around the world.

In developed countries women are treated well, they have jobs that men used to only have. We have an education and go to university. Back then you weren't aloud to do that. I think that women are now very much respected, join the middle ages the man would be the owner of the house and make all decisions, now the women and men are both the owner of the house and both share the power of making choices, women are also now allowed and should have a job of who in middle ages they would not be allowed, in middle ages womens only job was children and house kepping. right now women are just as free and important as men! I am only talking about the women in Canada, because in some countries women are still being treated very differently then man.
In our modern society, the evolution of women's rights has been very much improve. Back then, women were palm's of the dominant males, who had their wives stay home and cook, with no sort of education. Now days, women married have similar actions to back then. The only difference now is choice. Before, all the women could not choose if they wanted an education or not, now they have priority and can actually get a job. Women can even be bringing in more money than men. But unfortunately, this rule does not apply everywhere in the world. There are some parts of the world where women can't even choose their own path, not even their husband. This is a matter that shows how little some countries are willing to have change and to free themselves of corruption. Even if in some parts of the world women don't have free choice, it still have improved from all that time ago, and we know that there could still be change in our world and women can have equal rights.
I think that women in the middle ages back then where not treated how the women are today. In the middle ages women had to stay home and cook and clean and watch the kids. The women today still have to do cooking and cleaning the house but they have more freedom like the women today can go out with there friends and they can go on vacation but the women in the middle ages do not have as much freedom as the women do today

Yes I say women today are still treated like there are less inferior to men because of places like Pakistan. Some men in countries like Canada think men should make more money then women and that they shouldn't work at all and just do house work. So yes I think women are still not treated with the respect they need because of those men.

In the middle ages the obvious superior sex was men. But in our modern society women are treated equal, if not even better than men. For example lets say a man and a women get in a physical fight, and the cops come to break it up, who do you think would have the better odds of wining that case, there's a good chance the guy is going to lose. And when you see a girl on the street, immediately, they're looked a pun as a nice, innocent female. I do think that what we did in the past was bad, but its the present.
