They say that our parents know us best! If it came time to an arranged marriage, do you feel that your parents would find the perfect match for you? Explain.
What sort of person do you think your parents would set you up with? Explain.
I think that my parents would find the perfect match for me. I think that they would set me up with a girl that is nice and smart. they would never set me up with a girl that I do not like if they ever did that. the only concern I have would be that they would probably set me up with a girl that is Christian. that is a concern because I do not like to go to church. but I would rather chose my own wife rather then to get an arranged marriage
I don't think my parents would do a great job at finding me a match 'cause my parents wouldn't know what type of girl I want. Another reason I say they wouldn't find a good match is that they'd find someone completely Christian ( nothing against Christians) and I wouldn't like that because of the extra stuff I'd have to do such as Sunday church, stop saying "God dammit!" and etc. I'm also atheist so the relationship wouldn't last long. So in this case I'd like to meet a girl and never have an arranged marriage.
If my parents were ever to arrange my marriage, they would make sure that they would find someone that would bring happiness in my life. They would pick a girl who is charismatic, humorous, selfless, someone who is pleasant to be around. They would pick a girl who is a follower of the Catholic religion as my family is too. Finding a spouse for me who is good with children is ideal, because my parents know I want would want to raise kids of my own in my older age. My parents would be lenient about the whole thing, in the fact that I had a say in it too. My parents would find a large variety of girl, knowing that they're positive about their choice. If my parents found someone but I didn't agree, we will continue are search together for another girl.

I think my parents would set me up with a girl who likes kids and is very nice and social. Anyway, I don't think my parents would ever make me have an arranged marriage.
My parents arranging my marriage wouldn't actually be a problem. They would probably find me a pretty good person to marry, a kind, respectful and cool guy who wouldn't treat me badly. If I didn't like the guy they chose, I know they would look for a new one. As long as I'm happy, they're happy too. The only thing is I don't know if the guy would be as good looking as I would want him to be, but I guess it's not all about the looks right? :D

if parents would ever arrange a marriage for me I would probably be very mad. they wouldn't be able to find someone for me that would actually love, plus the fact i like things they don't it would probably come in the way of a picking and choosing game for them, but i know for a fact they would pic a woman that is Greek and pretty religion because they would love that for me.
If my parents had arranged a marriage for me that might be a bit of a concern because I am spending the rest of my life with them, but they would pick someone who I am happy with. They would want him to have a good sense of humour, a great perspective in life and who's adventurous. But of course if I don't think the guy is right, they would never force me to marry him. My parents would try to find someone else. That simple.
I had to think a lot to answer this question, I could not decide if it's a YES or a NO. But the truth is, it's both, YES and NO ! I will explain why it's a no and a yes. My parents would definitely try to find a perfect match for me. They would look for a guy that they can trust that he will treat me well and be kind. They will try to find an amazing person! That's why I think YES they could find a perfect guy. But no parents can arrange feelings! Feelings is something that only one person can well...Feel. No one knows what my perfect match is, even I don't know. I can only answer that question when I FEEL that the person is perfect for me. Yes, my parents can fiend a nice, trustworthy person and so much more. But if he leaves me feeling cold, I would not want to spend my life with him. No one can tell me or you how to feel about anyone or anything. This is why it's a NO, they can find someone that could be perfect, but they can't guaranty he will be.
if my parents picked me a women i would be with pretty much most of my life would not be a good choice because what if we had terrible conection it would not be fun for me or her we would probably get a divorce and i know it sounds pretty harch but if a girl was ugly and my parents made me marry her i would not enjoy it because i need to see her everyday
Personally,I never really talk about girls with my parents so at this point i don't know what kind of girl my parents would set me up with.However if my parents did actually arranged a marriage i believe they would set me up with someone smart,polite,pretty blablablablah,also of course someone who is normal not someone who has a deranged personality.

They would arrange me with an intelligent, nice, respectful greek guy whose first language is greek. They would want me to be happy just because my parents are both greek and they want their grandkids to go to a greek school. My parents want their kids to marry a greek person. Although if they see that we are not happy, they would either not make us get married or if we're already married, to get a divorce.

They would probably pick this type of man because they are very authentic Italian. Arranged marriages run in the family and they would probably choose a man who sucks up to them and who they think is the right man for me.
vincenzo ambrosio, I don't think that my parents will find the perfect match for me because they don't know me as much as they think. they think they know every single thing about but I know they don't. I think they would set me up with a brunette or a blonde that knows a few languages and she would be nice,that's the person they would set me up with.
Maria L. I think my parents would find an okay match for me but certainly not the perfect match. Not the man I would want to spend the rest of my life with. If I was not happy with the guy, my parents would not force me into marrying him. They would look for someone else that I may prefer. If I don't know what my perfect match would be how would my parents or anyone else know.
Boden C. I think that my parents would find a terrible match for me. They don't know what type of girl I like and what I look for in a girl. Sure they might pick someone who's is polite and friendly but I wouldn't get the same emotions and feelings for that person unless I were to meet them myself and we would get to know each other.If They picked someone for me I would already kind of not like them since I would be forced into the relationship.
Me and my parents fight rarely, but when we do, there about something pretty serious. It's either about homework, or TV time or stuff like that, average things like that. Of course, they always end up winning. But sometimes I win in a small sort of way. For ex: if I'm asking to go to bed at 9:00 pm, and I say 9:15, they sometimes allow that, or else, it's a never ending winning streak for my parents!
I rarely talk to my parents about girls or liking one, but when I do, I talk about the person that I would, if the time came. I think my parents would find the ok match for me. Of course I wouldn't be as happy with a girl that I choose, but it's a close third. I trust my parents because I've been living with them for 13 years and they got to know me and I got to know them. So yes, I do think they'd make the ok choice for me!

I told my parents on the first day of school that I met somebody from my old school, which is very far, I told them I made 2 new friends and that it's loud, hot and squished in the hallways. Other than that, I can survive another 4 years here. I got used to it really fast. 90 percent of my teachers are very nice I told them in an excited voice. I told my parents a pretty good portion of what's going on in my life outside of my own house!
I think the time I wanted to be back at my house, to normal was any vacation that I was coming back from. I loved the vacation,( 2 weeks), but there's nothing like getting back to your Home Sweet Home! Of course, after a couple of days back at home, I wish I was back, but it's over and have a couple of souvenirs and a brilliant memory, ( picture) in my head.
